During your 3 year apprenticeship with AXA, you’ll be working towards the AAT professional accountancy qualification (starting at Level 3 and moving on to a Level 4 apprenticeship). At AXA we’re adopting a Hybrid way of working, empowering our people to balance their time between home and our Ipswich office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers.

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintaining accounting systems and records as part of a team.
• Assisting in the production of monthly and quarterly accounting and other financial reports.
• Assisting in the preparation of regulatory returns such as annual accounts and tax returns.
• Liaising with other AXA departments to provide help and assistance.
• Working on projects such as process improvements, staff training and department initiatives.

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

• 3 A Levels (or equivalent) and GSCE Grade C in Maths and English or equivalent.
• Developed IT and communication skills.
• An enquiring and analytical nature with a high level of attention to detail.
• Able to work under pressure and to deliver against tight deadlines.
• Keen to learn and to develop both professional and softer skills.
• Propensity to work collaboratively as part of a team.
