A Day in the Life
The Disney+ Marketing Strategy Intern will work closely with the awareness marketing teams, such as Marketing Strategy, Digital, PR, Events/Experiential, Creative, Franchise, Partnerships and International to ensure alignment of marketing campaigns across campaign priorities for 2022.
Responsibilities :
You will…
- Assist in developing the ongoing strategic planning for our brand marketing initiatives
- Support the Marketing Strategy team with projects as needed including preparing presentations, updating and managing internal documents, distributing weekly reports, and additional research assignments
- Support expanded Awareness Marketing team (Marketing Strategy, Digital, Publicity, Events, etc.) by compiling comprehensive plans, documents, and presentations
- Attend various meetings and record notes as requested
- Assists the Marketing Strategy team in day-to-day marketing communications tasks
- Works with multiple departments to achieve goals and retrieve information for marketing documents.
Basic Qualifications :

- Understanding of Marketing, including user research, measurement, planning, crafting positioning/messaging, and user product education
- Ability to think strategically about complex issues leading to thoughtful recommendations and action plans
- Able to function well within a diverse team
- Able to utilize good time management skills
- Able to work independently and function as a self-starter
- Experience managing multiple complex projects with concurrent timelines
- Ability to communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders at all levels
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous internship experience within marketing, content, communications, or a related field
- Experience working with Air Table
- Experience working with Keynote/PowerPoint/Google Docs/Google Slides and Adobe Suite Software
Required Education :
- Currently enrolled as a junior or higher or must have graduated within the past 6 months from an accredited college/university, earning a degree in Marketing, Advertising, or related
Additional Information :
Internship Eligibility:
- At the time of application, must be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within 6 months OR currently participating in a Disney Professional Internship
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program, concurrent to this internship
- Must possess unrestricted work authorization
Work Environment
- This internship will be located in Burbank, CA and interns must be able to provide their own housing and reliable transportation to and from work
- This will be a hybrid working situation with some days in the office and some days working remotely each week
- The internship requires a working, reliable internet connection as well as a quiet, dedicated work space for working remotely.
