Legal Operations (within Global Operations) plays a critical role in Meta’s to provide excellent Operational Compliance with Legal, Regulatory and Contractual Obligations globally. If you like helping people, Global Operations is for you. As a Program Manager for Internal Risk and Compliance, you will be responsible for supporting privacy risk discovery and mitigation assigned projects and the cross-functional efforts associated with their delivery.

Program Manager, Internal Risk and Compliance Responsibilities:

• Employ an entrepreneurial mindset to grow and mature Global Operations risk and compliance strategic initiatives. Explore new strategic opportunities to inform the future roadmap for privacy risk management within Global Operations.
• Internally assess, evaluate and make recommendations to management regarding the adequacy of the privacy compliance controls for Global Operations teams.
• Engage with operational teams to identify, understand and assess privacy risks.
• Track and document short-term and long term privacy compliance projects, goals and objectives. Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement.
• Provide project updates on a consistent basis to leadership and various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments and progress.
• Effectively plan and collaborate with team members on a range of projects to improve internal efficiency and effectiveness of our operations.
• Work closely with our legal, policy and other cross functional partners to address complex privacy reports and regulatory inquiries.
• Develop and manage detailed project schedules and work plans.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 3+ years of privacy program management experience scoping, developing and implementing privacy programs
• Bachelor’s Degree and/or 2+ years experience in project management
• Familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
• Demonstrated customer service, communication, and presentation skills
• Proven experience in supporting and completing projects according to outlined scope and timeline

Preferred Qualifications:

• Project management certification
• Experience solving privacy problems within an operations environment
• Self-starter, intellectually curious and resourceful when faced with limited options
• Experience acting independently across competing priorities
