Internship Freddie Mac – Financial Controller in Fairfax

Job Description:

The Finance Division of Freddie Mac is looking for a Senior Financial Controller to join the Investments and Capital Markets (I&CM) CFO department. For Freddie Mac’s Capital Markets section, the I&CM CFO department is in charge of financial accounting and reporting, portfolio risk and profitability analysis, pricing and valuation activities, and financial planning and analysis. The hired employee will work as part of the I&CM Financial Reporting & Analytics team, contributing to financial analysis and presentations for internal and external reporting.

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

• Knowledge of GAAP financial accounting and reporting concepts
• Hyperion and/or Peoplesoft Knowledge a plus
• 5-7 years of financial reporting and analytics work experience
• Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Bachelor’s degree required (Concentration in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related degree/equivalent experience)
• Strong financial aptitude and robust analytical skills
