Job Description:

As a Quantum Computing Summer Associate, you’ll work on research projects involving quantum computing algorithms and applications, particularly in the areas of optimization, artificial intelligence, cryptography, and finance, with the goal of developing novel research solutions to problems faced by internal teams. You will collaborate with other researchers to publish your discoveries in scientific journals and contribute to JPMC’s intellectual property by pursuing essential IP protections.

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

• Enrolled in a master’s or Ph.D. degree program in computer science, math, engineering, sciences or other quantitative fields.
• Working knowledge of common research evaluation frameworks and techniques.
• No prior experience with financial markets required.
• Experience with Quantum Computing algorithms and applications.
• Excellent knowledge of Python programming.
