We are undertaking a large transformational project to modernise and migrate our store services to central cloud technology and are looking to streamline the shopping experience in the modern world to make it as enjoyable and frictionless as possible.

We have been steadily growing over the past 10 years to become one of the largest online retail platforms in the UK. We currently sell to 70 International markets, offering our 6 million active customers a personalised shopping experience and the ability to purchase from a wide range of products using multiple delivery methods and payment types.

Store Tech operate in the wider Next Technology domain and work in an Agile environment and Software Development Life Cycle closely with developers, business analysts, architecture and product owners as well as our store support services and departments.

About The Role

As an Automated Test Analyst you will:

  • Interpret functional specifications, in order to produce automated test plans and strategies
  • Interpret functional specifications of new features in order to produce automated test plans and evolve strategies whilst designing and developing these automated tests
  • Liaise with the development team and key business users in Agile development projects – attending scrum review meetings and develop targeting automated test plans and cases
  • Design and develop automated tests, producing detailed test scripts
  • Working within the team and with key business users during the development, providing updates and status reports and alerting potential issues
  • Perform integration, performance and stress testing of client and server applications – including post-release checking where required
  • Perform integration, performance and stress testing of third party software applications where required
  • Work alongside others in the teams to provide ongoing process improvements and mentor other automated team members

Criteria

Essential

  • Have a wealth of previous experience in automation testing and automation test strategies
  • Knowledge of and demonstrable automation testing tool knowledge
  • Have extensive experience in converting user requirements into automated test plans and test cases
  • Be experienced in working agile development methodologies
  • Experience of working to tight deadlines and managing multiple priorities
  • Be able to evidence your experience of using SQL for database interrogation
  • Be able to demonstrate previous experience of Selenium Web driver or Leapwork for testing front end web applications
  • Knowledge of DevOps principles and ways of working
  • Knowledge of Cloud Based architecture and delivery pipelines
  • Ability to prioritise and left-shift testing activities
