Global Assistant Brand Manager – AHC Roll-Out (Comms & Digital)

Location: London OR Singapore

Background and Context

Skin care is the largest BPC category and AHC (Aesthetic Hydration Cosmetics) is an acquired Korean Skincare brand, with a global roll out business that has been growing double digit over the last few years. We are currently present in over 15 markets – a brand with a truly global presence. Carver Korea is AHC’s manufacturer and is the #3 largest Korean beauty player in Korea – A hot bed of skincare innovations & sophisticated skincare routines.

Main challenges of the job

Support Digital & Comms BM in strategy and execution in our ambition to build a truly global premium beauty business. Key focus areas: Brand.com, beauty tech executions (Ai beauty coach, connected packs), E- com content creation, brand engagement (social, influencers, social selling etc), great working relationships with multiple markets and numerous stakeholders. (Agency partners, Carver Korea communication teams)

Key success measures

  • Support digital acceleration of the brand by defining a success model for brand.com & rolling out beauty tech – AI based Beauty Coach skin diagnostic & connected packs
  • Build best in class online content (7OA), to improve online presence and visibility of AHC across all key e-commerce platforms

Main Accountabilities

  • Autonomously manage brand.com and beauty teach while supporting BM other areas
  • Ensure brand.com is continuously optimised and managed
  • Lead beauty tech activations (Ai lead AHC beauty coach in market execution)
  • Support to define & create Omni channel digital assets and manage distribution of assets
  • Support social media account management
  • Support on Search, Content strategy development and implementation
  • Support on digital marketing plans in the key markets
  • Build and maintain key relationship with Carver Korea Digital and communication teams.
  • Manage and Forecast for Digital Team’s budget and spending.
  • Housekeeping: Maintain digital asset SharePoint, model rights

Relevant Experience

  • Mandatory – Fluent in English and Korean
  • Mandatory hands-on experience in working on Shopify Plus platform
  • Mandatory experience working with multiple agencies and vendors (Beauty tech partners, Creative agencies)
  • Managing social media accounts
  • Experience working with e-retailers or developing brand assets for e- retailer platforms E.g., Amazon, Lazada & Prior experience on Asset Bank & Key Word Repository to create product copy
  • Analytical and business oriented, experience working in or with a large corporate brand team environment.
  • Hard working, driven, always up for a challenge with a ‘can -do’ attitude
  • Strong bias for action, able to multi – task, prioritise and chase down opportunities
  • Fluent in MS Office applications.

Location:

In September 2020, Unilever announced the intention to build a new sustainable campus site in Kingston, London to house the employees who currently work in 100 Victoria Embankment in Blackfriars, Lever House in Kingston, Unilever House in Leatherhead and Graze in Richmond. We are creating our own Unilever sustainable, agile work environment, purposefully bringing us together in our own Unilever ecosystem. The campus is due to be completed in December 2023 and will consist of two interconnected buildings, as well as landscaped surrounding areas.

In the most sophisticated cases, they will set up fake websites, which have a similar address to companies like Unilever. They even conduct fake telephone interviews and then offer candidates a role with the proviso they pay a fee for background checks or to cover work visa costs.  These types of attacks are becoming more common as more people are looking for employment in the economic climate.
