The Yahoo Commerce Content team is seeking an enthusiastic intern who is passionate about shopping content to join our commerce/affiliate team, covering fashion, beauty, home, tech, electronics, wellness, celebrities, fandom and pop culture. You’ll support our new and growing commerce/team in a creative, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Pitch and write shopping-focused articles, ensuring they meet our editorial and affiliate guidelines and standards.
- Optimize articles for SEO, maximum engagement and affiliate revenue
- Create and maintain databases in Google Sheets
- Update and re-publish articles with new headlines and products
- Update editorial calendar
- Create decks and one-sheets
- Coordinate with social media team to promote content on social channels and newsletter
- Attend occasional press events to preview relevant products
Qualifications:
- Impeccable writing skills
- Passion for shopping-focused editorial content
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to coordinate and prioritize large and diverse workload on tight deadlines
- Ability to work independently and proactively under pressure
- Graphic design skills a plus
- Experience in: Excel, Photoshop, Google Sheets
